I've had such great luck with plus size dresses from Asos. My best friend is getting married in two weeks, and while I have a few dresses at home on standby, I wanted to splurge on a new fancy frock.
I narrowed my favorite looks down to these three. The winning dress is the black one on the left. The asymmetric shoulder won me over and it has plenty of room in the mid-section. I'll finish the look with similar heels, a black clutch, and blinged out jewelry.
We have a room at the hotel, so we can dance & drink into the wee hours. There is nothing like slipping into comfortable clothes the day after a long night of partying. We'll be meeting everyone for breakfast in the morning and I want to be wearing something soft for the occasion. Liz shared some great curvy girl clothing links in her latest love this post. I really love this tunic, and from etsy I am loving this body hugging piece.
I'll have to finish my shopping tonight and post photos in a few weeks. Thank you for your emails. We can keep the conversation going in the comment section.
This conversation is about learning to love ourselves just as we are. It's about eating healthy to nurture and nourish our bodies. It's about learning to adorn ourselves with beautiful clothing that celebrates and expresses who we are. It's about love. It's about feeling less alone. It's about building our confidence inch by inch while breaking free from old habits and stories. Holler if you're with me. This is what I write about every Thursday.
Next week I'll be sharing my top 10 body nourishing snacks & summer tops.
