Tina & I reunited with one of our dearest relatives over the weekend. I think the space between now and the last time we saw each other is 15 years?! Thank you Facebook for bringing us back together. Thank you wine and nibbles and picking up right where we left off, except that we are a lot older, with kids and wrinkles and mortgages and a lifetime packed with so much in between now and then. We just kept hugging each other, crying tears of happiness for our good fortune. She is a fine lady, still as pure and genuine as she was back then, with that mischievous sparkle in her eyes that I always adored. I put my hands together in gratitude for the people I am blessed to know. We're not letting this one slip away.
