I am a creature of comfort and there is nothing more comforting than a steaming hot bowl of soup on a chilly day.
I made a big pot of butternut squash soup over the weekend that was so. damn. good. (recipe here) I imagine you could tweak the recipe to your liking but I followed the steps exactly, and it was delish.
There's a good conversation going on at Jen Lee's space where you can share your perscription for strength. One of my *musts* is nourishing myself with food that fuels the body and soul. This soup does it for me every time.
