I wanted to say thank you for all of your comments and notes, and for your epic love sent my way across the miles. I feel it, I really do. Each of your notes have been tucked away in a little file so I can go back and re-read them when I need to. I'm so overwhelmed by the kindness you have all showed me.
So I'm creating this little diversion for myself. It's a list of 101 awesome things to do this summer. I saw someone on facebook who was doing it and I thought it would be a great idea to at least write the list for myself and see what I would have crossed off by the end of September. There's no pressure to do it all and if I get only one thing crossed off, that's fine.
While I was writing the list, I thought about how we're a little more than halfway into 2012. What have I crossed off and done so far this year?
January ... my bloggy friend Kat came to stay with me for a few days. I gave her a tour of NYC that included many coffee stops and pizza. NYC pizza is the best.
February ... I swam with a dolphin in the Bahamas. (epic!)
March ... over night trip to NYC with Thea. That was so much fun.
April ... professionally photographed a 1st birthday party and decided the next day that it would be my last one.
I did a lot of journey work in April. A few months earlier, I swore I had all the symptoms of a heart attack and checked myself into the hospital, only to find out I was having a panic attack. Did you know that a full fledged panic attack can mimic the symptoms of a heart attack? I had no idea. So yeah, I did a lot of meditation, yoga, and walking in April.
May ... first ever picnic on the beach and photographed a lovely story night for Jen L & Jolie G.
June ... the beginning of the month was super. My step-brother got married. We had all been looking forward to his wedding for a long time. It was a fabulous time.
Ok July. I'm ready to tackle you. I hear there's a hot air balloon festival coming up ;)

i can highly recommend hot air balloon festivals. get thee on a flight if you can (it's truly, truly amazing).
drink champagne after to celebrate your brilliance at having done such a marvellous thing (that will be amazing too).
