It used to be that I had to ask, beg, even plead with my daughter to pose for me. Now that she's older and exploring her own creative style, she's the one who proposes a photo shoot every now and then. (yes, my heart does explode when this happens!)
I'm linking up with Kim Klassen who just celebrated her birthday! You all just don't know how much love I have for Kim. She creates her beautiful textures by hand and if you subscribe to her texture lovin' list ... you get 1 free texture gift a week. I've amassed a huge file full of her beauties - and I love playing with them in PhotoShop.
Kim made a wish list of 44 goals for her birthday! I haven't made a list in a while so her invitation to do so is perfectly timed!
Because it's May 1st & with 31 beautiful days ahead, I'll list my goals for the next month:
*We're painting the living room again. I need to pick the color (a soft vanilla) and get the ball rolling on that project.
*Order ten 5x7 shadowbox frames for the huge wall that's been bare of art for the 9 years we've been here. Also, order prints for said frames.
*Re-arrange furniture and wall art when the painting is done, creating a sitting space that flows better than what it does now. I want it done by June 1.
*Finish writing the content for my photography e-Course & offer up the deets (dates, registration, etc.) by June 1.
*Consider chalk-board paint for a square on the blank kitchen wall (my daughter would love it!)
*With a family wedding coming up, my weekends seem to be filling - but - create space for connecting with my girlfriends.
*Finally... today is the first appointment with my trainer. I don't care how much pain I'm in, I will stick to our weekly sessions -and- continue with 2 cardio & 1 yoga session a week. I want to tone up be all kinds of fierce looking this summer.
Photo recipe: I ran TRA's Troy action on the photo before applying a layer of Kim's Cinnamon on Multiply 100% - then Kim's Charmed on Soft Light 100%. Flatten and Save.

What an incredible photo!
